With an increasingly diverse labor market, individuals and businesses call for a package of solutions that satisfies their specific needs. Clearly, we cannot expect the government to produce a cure-all for all the pressing employment and labor issues of today; instead, the players in the market - individuals and corporations - need to put together their hands-on knowledge and experience to develop a set of effective measures that meet their expectations. The Labor Market Research team aims to provide hints for such solutions by analyzing the forever evolving and dynamic labor markets using interdisciplinary approaches, periodically assess job markets and publish research papers. Specifically, the team surveys the infrastracture, mechanism and services of external labor markets such as executive search service, temporary staffing, and online job search. Also, the team conducts international surveys to analyze issues for the future, regarding new ways of working in the future and labor supply-demand adjustment mechanism. For working individuals, the team has produced a handful of eye-opening and provocative policy proposals that respond to changing times.
